The Associate Board is a non-voting entity of Center for Powerful Public Schools comprised of young professionals who are interested in future board service. It is designed to build the following nonprofit leadership skills in young professionals:
Interested candidates must apply and go through an interview process to be selected. A complete application includes:
If selected, Associate Board members are responsible for paying $100 in dues upon entry and raising $100 throughout their term.
Associate Board members must have between 4 to 8 years of professional experience and display a commitment to public education. Previous community service and team leadership experience preferred but not required.
