Micia Mosely, Ph.D. has dedicated her career to helping students reach their full creative and academic potential. A teacher, researcher and product of public education, she designs custom reform strategies and facilitates workshops that help educators and non-profit leaders increase equity while maximizing school and organizational performance. Mosely brings a wealth of classroom experience to her work, infusing bold strategies with real-world approaches that respond to the challenges faced by educators and leaders in diverse settings. She is an expert on reflective leadership, cultural-competence, and data-based inquiry.
In 2016, Mosely became the Executive Director of The Black Teacher Project, an organization committed to recruiting, developing and sustaining Black teachers for schools in the United States. Also a successful theater artist and performer, she tours the nation with her socio-political stand-up comedy. Mosely lives in Harlem, NY and Oakland, CA.
