Today, October 16th is National Dictionary Day and the Center for Powerful Public Schools communications team took to the streets of Los Angeles to find out how different community members defined equity in education.

We spoke with parents, teachers, students, and community members to envision a space where all students attended powerful public schools. From classroom size to teacher professional development, everyone shared what is needed to create an equitable classroom experience. They all had one thing in common: all students deserve equity, access, and choice.
