Amber Green

UCLA IMPACT Program Coordinator

Amber Green is the UCLA IMPACT Program Coordinator, serving in partnership with UCLA Graduate School of Education’s Center X and Los Angeles Unified School District. As a secondary science educator with over 15 years of experience teaching STEM in both private and public schools, Amber has served as a mentor teacher, instructional coach and program coordinator at LAUSD, USC and UCLA. She is committed to improving the quality of education in urban schools through the preparation and support of teachers in implementing culturally responsive pedagogy. Amber has her B.A. in Biological Anthropology from San Jose State University, a M.Sc. in Paleopathology from the University of Durham, and a M.A, in Secondary Education from Loyola Marymount University, as well as credentials in biological sciences and administrative services.
